ABOUT US
Girls football is on the rise and we want to do develop this within the Cardiff primary school sector; we found that there is a place for a competitive league format but at the moment there isn’t one set up. As a result we decided to set up the 'CARDIFF PRIMARY SCHOOLS FOOTBALL LEAGUE'. We feel a league will give children the opportunity to play more regular football during the academic school year and allow pupils to develop within the sport. Its even run and managed by CARDIFF PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHERS!

Schools that join the league will compete over the academic year. Fixtures will be played in a variety of formats from home and away fixtures, football festivals and the league will also feature a cup!

OUR AIMS

Promote primary school football in the Cardiff area for girls between ages 7-11 years old.

Provide regular opportunities for participation within the sport.

Develop a pathway for pupils to join local sports club.

Develop a football community amongst schools in Cardiff to help further develop the sport.

Develop links with local clubs.
